... The new logistics centre starts its operation in August. Listed at the WSE the company COMPLEX completes the works connected with launching the warehouses in Stryków near Łódź. The value of the investment is estimated for about 8 million PLN. .
A curiosity is the fact that COMPLEX which is the production company - manufactures parts for the machines - decided to create a logistics facility of the area of 10 thousand sq. meters. The warehouses meet the demands of not only the investor but also external clients. The company intends to lease a part of the area to other companies.
-Launching the new centre will ensure correct and effective logistics service of our Clients. It will guarantee better flow of materials from acceptance to the warehouse to the shipment and loading on external means of transport. The whole investment will ensure the reduction of costs with simultaneous increase in efficiency - says Radosław Łodziato, the Vice President of COMPLEX S.A.
The main asset of the new investment is its location. The facility is located near the planned junction of A1 and A2 motorways. In the first quarter of the next year, the centre will be equipped with automatic line for packaging, latest technologically advanced dynamic shelves for storing goods, as well as automated line for completing and shipment of goods. At the present stage of works, high storage shelves which have room for over 10 thousand pallets are already installed.
Simultanously with the opening of the centre, the laboratory facilitating, among others, making precise measurements of products, the control of their quality and the qualitative analysis of the material, will be open. In addition, full control over the warehouse will be ensured by the currently implemented Warehouse Management System (WMS) of the company Logifact.'
