Most often details speak of the great things. In order to get to know them sometimes you have to use a microscope. The latest purchases of Complex IQ laboratory allow us to penetrate the world of atoms.
Quality policy of Complex IQ built on the basis of growing market demands "mobilizes" the company to constantly invest in laboratory equipment. At the beginning of 2008, Quality Control Laboratory acquired another high class control-measuring equipment. It will allow to supervise the production of the previous CX and Hertz assortment even more precisely and prepare the implementation of the new goods.
In order to significantly increase the control over the manufactured assortment, we made a number of investments. One of them is the purchase of the machine for circularity and cylindrical shape deviations measurements Talyrond 365 from renowned Taylor Hobson company. That device allows for quicker and more efficient measurements of circularity, cylindrical shape, radial run-out, concentricity, flatness, etc., with precision up to the thousandths of micrometres. Fast analysis of the measurement results and their visualisation allows in detecting series defects of the shape of rings e.g. triangularity. Metrological measurements are just one of the components of the control of the finished product quality.
The other equally important area is the so-called control of area quality. In this case the area of the detail is controlled with respect to occurence of cracks, scratches, burns, dents, corrosion centres and the condition of sealing edges (technical sealants). In most cases the control with bare eye is enough but in some cases the defects can be detected only at the observation under the magnification. For this purpose sterescope microscope of RZ type, of the Janapese company MEIJI, was installed in the laboratory. In addition, the system of the picture transmission to the computer, containing a digital camera, Deltapix, was added to the system. This control station allows for easy and effective control of the surface of rolling elements and bearing race.
The third device which appeared in the Laboratory is the emission spectrometer SPECTROMAXx of the company SPECTRO. SPECTROMAXx is equipped with fully digital sparkle generator, a very efficient optical system based on CCD detectors, were the necessity of the application of vaccum was eliminated. The measurements in it consist in the excitation of the elements occurring in the material for lightning and the analysis of the spectrum created this way. Owing to this we can perform the qualitative analysis i.e. what elements occur in the examined material and the quantitative analysis, meaning in what quantities they occur. With the use of the spectometer, it was possible to extend the internal test plan with the control of the chemical composition of the materials applied for the manufacture of our assortment.
In the extensive set of laboratory devices there are also the devices of Bowers, Mituoyo and Hommelwerke brands - the leading manufacturers of the laboratory equipment in the world. As the first ones in Poland, we use the device Vibnode of the company Pruftechnik, for the diagnosis of the bearings. While using the vibration spectrum analysis, it allows to evaluate faults of particular elements of a bearing To measure the execution precision of dimensions of main bearings, we use electronic 3-point bar gages bowers, transameters bowers of various measuring ranges, micrometrical sensor and measurement plate mitutoyo, as well as the set of model plates Measuring devices transfer data to computers automatically. The quality of the execution of rolling tracks and elements of bearings is evaluated with the use of a roughness meter made by Hommelwerke. Hardness of elements is measured with the use of a stationary hardness tester in hertz scale.
We have machines, which measure the level of noises during the bearing operation in three different frequency ranges and two scales. As the first ones in Poland, we use the device Vibnode of the company Pruftechnik, for the diagnosis of the bearings.
