COMPLEX S.A. – domestic leader of the manufacture and distribution of the machine parts and rolling bearings  has fulfilled issuance aims. All works connected with the opening of the Logistics Center in Stryków near Łódź, by A2 motorway, were completed. At the same time the Company took over the company Quinto - a significant manufacturer of machines and devices for mining industry and plastic treatment of metals.
The modern Logistics Center of Complex S.A. was located in the strategic geographical location, in the vicinity of the planned junction of the motorways A1/A2. The official opening of the Center is planned for 8th September 2008. The Center meets world logistics standards. It is based on the concept dedicated and prepared by the specialists, additionally supported with latest achievements of storage and goods transport technique. The Center operates on the basis of ERP II class system, and the processes inside the Center are managed by the specialized and renowned WMS class system. The value of the investment is nearly 8 million PLN. In the Center, over 30,000 articles (SKU) of the maximum weight up to 10,000 tons may be stored, over 10,000 order lines and over 1000 orders per day may be executed. The investment will ensure the Company the optimization of logistics processes. The effect will be the minimization of costs with simultaneous increase of service quality (the extension of the scope of logistics services, the optimum use of invested funds, the increase of customer service quality). Logistics Center Complex S.A. in numbers:

• The zone of high storage shelves for over 10,000 palette places, which gives the capacity of 8.000 tons,
• The zone of 23 elevator dynamic shelves with total load – bearing capacity over 600 tons, that enables storage in over 50,000 locations,
• The zone of flow shelves with the capacity of over 19,000 cardboard boxes of the total load - bearing capacity of nearly 500 tons,
• The system of intelligent transporters of the length of 1 km,
• The line for internal turn of the waste of package, terminated with forming pressed recyclable materials    

Pursuant to the announcement, Complex S.A. realized the second of the issuance aims. The Company made the acquisition of the entity to diversify the offer and to increase the pace of organic development. On 29th August 2008, Complex S.A. signed the contract with the Company Quinto, the manufacturer of the devices and industrial apparatus for mining and mining industry. The contract concerns acquisition of 70% shares. Quinto is the manufacturer among others of specialist precision equipment for mining and bending brakes-squeezers for sheet metals. The clients of Quinto are the companies from coal mining and opencast mining industry, energy industry, chemical and shipyard industry. Quinto delivers its products to the Polish market and to, among others, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey and the USA. The company has the certificate of the Central Mining Institute and ISO 9001 accredited by TÜV Rheinland. In 2007 the company has 24.2 million PLN revenue and nearly half a million net profit.
